Winfield-Mt. Union is looking for volunteers to serve on their School Improvement Advisory Committee.
The committee is designed to represent the WMU community and school. Members include students, staff, parents, and other members of the community. At the moment, around six members are involved, and WMU is looking to add, but not limited to, five or six more volunteers.
WMU is seeking volunteers who are enthusiastic about the school and the community. People with big ideas who will focus on what they believe is important for all parties. Those big ideas can then be used to focus on smaller, more specific ideas. They are looking for people who care about the future, both near and far, and have a concrete idea of what that means to them.
To volunteer, share ideas, or learn more, contact Superintendent Jeff Maeder at jeff.maeder@wmucsd.org or (319) 257-7700 and ask for him.
