The Washington County Board of Supervisors met in regular session on Tuesday. The board held a closed session to discuss strategy with counsel in matters that are presently in litigation or where litigation is imminent where its disclosure would be likely to prejudice or disadvantage the position of the governmental body in that litigation.

The board discussed re-evaluating possible ordinances for assessing the wind and other renewable energy conversion properties. The board heard a proposal from Iowa Negotiating and Consulting Services to provide services related to Human Resources. The board also tabled an evaluation of the Washington County Ambulance Service’s patient transfer vehicle.

The next meeting of the Washington County Board of Supervisors will be Tuesday, November 8th at 9:00 am in the Supervisors’ Chambers in the basement of the Washington County Courthouse.
