Election day for the general elections is less than a week away, with the polls set to open at 7:00 am in Washington on Tuesday, November 8th. KCII radio will provide live updates after the polls close, while the results roll in until 11:00 pm.
Washington County Auditor Dan Widmer wants to remind Washington County residents of their options for election season. “Right now, there are two remaining options for individuals who want to vote. You can come to the auditor’s office in the courthouse to drop off your absentee ballots, or you can vote in person. Obviously, next Tuesday is going to be the big day, and people can show up to their designated polling location, which is available on our website.”
The Washington County Auditor’s Office will also be open on Saturday, November 5th, to service those who wish to cast their ballots early for the election. A link to the document for the location of the designated polling places in Washington County can be found at the bottom of the article.
