Washington Public Health will be holding a pair of Women, Infant, and Child (WIC) clinics next week on Monday, November 7th, and Tuesday, November 8th, from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm. WIC is a supplemental nutrition program that provides nutritious foods to families with pregnant women or young children. Through this program, the families receive nutritional counseling from trained dieticians and referrals for health care.
WIC appointments may be made by calling the Washington Public Health office. There will also be lead, dental, and developmental screenings on those days as well. The clinics will be held on the fifth floor of the Federation Bank building in Washington.
