On Saturday, November 5, the 218 Treasure Trek returns to southeast Iowa. Businesses and vendors in Riverside, Ainsworth, and Crawfordsville will be open for a day of shopping, giveaways, and great food.

The event runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and features 19 vendors at 13 different stops, including Boxcar Treasures, Cellar Creations, and Highland Hideaway Hunting. Ainsworth Four Corners Restaurant and Fuel Stop, La Chiva Loka, Madeline’s Coffee House and other restaurants will be open all day for lunch and refreshments.

Shoppers will also have a chance to enter a drawing for gift cards from local restaurants. Winners will be drawn after 3 p.m. Following the Trek, acoustic artist Jarrod Hogan will perform live music at Murphy’s Bar and Grill from 7-10 p.m.
