
Washington County Attorney John Gish has released a list of the most common crimes in Washington County as of October 31st. The list does not include offenses, such as speeding tickets, where a person pays the fine or pleads guilty immediately.
The number one crime committed in Washington County is driver’s license-related crimes which include driving with a Non-Valid License and Driving While License is Suspended, Revoked, or Barred. The remaining most common crimes are OWI, Drug Possession, No-Contact Order Violations, and Assault. Through October 31st, there have been 420 indictments filed, and approximately $228,000 has been collected.
