As proof of their dominance at the top of the division, the WACO Warriors and Winfield-Mount Union Wolves trade places atop the lead for volleyball statistics in the South East Iowa Super Conference North. WACO senior setter Grace Coble handed out a conference-high 600 assists, with WMU senior setter Keely Malone only four behind in second. Coble was named the North’s Co-Player of the Year with senior libero Keetyn Townsley, who led the league with 398 digs and was second with 74 aces for the Wolves.

WACO senior hitter Ellah Kissell’s 248 kills was tops in the Super Conference North, followed by WMU senior Melina Oepping with 236. Wolves senior middle hitter Bradie Buffington was fifth with an even 200 kills, while Highland Huskies junior Sarah Burton had three more to finish fourth in the conference. Kissell also finished fifth in the league in digs with 259, with Warriors senior libero Jocelyn Fulton in second with 365 digs. WACO junior middle Emma Wagler led the conference with 56 blocks, with Buffington and junior Lily Freeman tied for second with 51 and Oepping in fourth with 33.

WACO junior Marie Farmer’s 97 aces not only led the Super Conference North but was second in the state across all classes. Coble finished fourth with 55, while Highland senior MyLei Smith was fifth with 48.
