Washington County Auditor Dan Widmer at the Chamber of Commerce Candidates Forum talked about when it might be too late to mail in your absentee ballots. “If you have received an absentee ballot in the mail, just be aware that we need to have it back by Tuesday evening at 8:00 pm on election night when the polls close. We need to have it back one way or the other, and if you haven’t mailed it and it’s Saturday or Monday, you may just want to hang onto it and drop it off before Tuesday evening at 8:00 pm.”
