Sigourney’s Reanah Utterback stands alone as a national champion after running the table at the Brian Keck Preseason Nationals Wrestling Tournament in Des Moines October 28th through the 30th. Last year’s Iowa State Girls Champion at 110lbs won national gold at 106lbs in the state capital. After a first round bye, she topped Oklahoma’s Olivia Hamilton by fall in 1:28. She scored a quarterfinal pinfall in just :38 seconds to beat Ava Miller of Ohio. In the semis Utterback bested Canadian Kaura Coles by 8-5 decision and took the title by putting Chloe Dearwester of Ohio on her back in 3:03.
