The final round of the leaf pickup in Kalona is underway this week, with plans to completely finish the week of November 21.

Absolute Outdoor Services has been removing leaves on the east side of town this week, but residents living on 5th Street and to the west still have the opportunity to get any remaining leaves moved to the curb. Items including sticks, flower stalks, and solid objects are prohibited and will delay or prevent pickup. Grass clippings are prohibited as well. Leaves must be ready for pickup by 8 a.m. on Monday, November 21.
