This Christmas, the Wellman Fire Department will serve as Santa Claus to the Wellman community.

After all of the community assistance the fire department has received, they thought it would be appropriate to give back to the community by organizing a Christmas toy drive for children. The event will be held on December 10th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Wellman Fire Department, 95 3rd St in Wellman. Parents will be able to stop by and look for toys for their children. Toys of all kids are available. 

Tracy Owens, a member of the Wellman Fire Department, told KCII News, “I just hope we have a good turn out, and we can help some kids have a great Christmas.”
