Staff from Hills Bank were on hand at the Highland School Board Meeting on Monday November 14 to gift them a check for $1,435. Jean Lenz and Cindy Michel presented the check to Board President, Nate Robinson, as part of their quarterly Classroom Cash program.

Since the program’s inception in 2004, Classroom Cash has given over $37,500 dollars to the Highland School District. As Superintendent Ken Crawford explains “What they do is, if you get a credit card through Hills Bank and you designate Highland Schools as your home school, a small percent of your purchases gets donated to the school.”

With over 11,000 cards registered, Hills Bank has supported schools across Iowa with over $1 million earned over the last 18 years.
