As we celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday Thursday, AM and FM KCII invites you to enjoy your planned festivities with non-stop holiday music blocks that begin today. You can listen to KCII’s annual sounds of the season broadcasts of Christmas music blocks from 6p.m.-midnight Thursday, and 1p.m. to midnight Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This includes a special rebroadcast of the 2017 radio play, Miracle on 34th Street, from 8-9p.m. Thanksgiving night and Saturday’s broadcast of the 2022 radio play, Holiday Affair, live from the Washington Public Library at 5p.m.
The KCII Big Red Radio will also be in attendance at this Saturday’s list of Main Street Washington SNOW Blitz events including the annual Jingle Bell Fun Run, Breakfast with Santa, Reason for the Season Concert, Downtown Lighting Ceremony and Holiday Lighted Parade. We will broadcast live from the square Saturday from 8-10a.m and announce the parade live for those on the square Saturday night. The one to count on for your soundtrack for the holidays is AM and FM KCII.
