The Iowa Girls Coaches Association named four Mid-Prairie volleyball players to their Class 3A Southeast District team for 2022.

Senior Landry Pacha was an All-District choice. Pacha led the team with 47 aces, second most in the River Valley and a 94.2% efficiency rate from the service line. She compiled a team best 264 kills, fourth most in the league with a 10th in the RVC .249% kill efficiency rate. Her 407 assists were best on the team and seventh in the conference. She finished with 254 digs and 28 blocks, both 10th in the conference.

Senior Ella Groenewold was an IGCA All-District selection. She posted a team best 77 blocks, second in the River Valley with 153 kills and a .385 kill efficiency rating, sixth in Class 3A.

Sophomore Dakota Mitchell was chosen to the All-District team. She finished the season averaging 6.5 digs per set, tied for most in the state. Mitchell’s total of 630 digs this season were second in the state.

Freshman Jovi Evans was also named All-District. Evans finished fifth in the RVC with 43 aces and had a 92.8% efficiency rate from the service line. Her 346 digs were sixth in the conference, her 370 assists were eighth most and her 202 kills were ninth most in the league with a fourth best .343 kill efficiency rating, to go along with 22 blocks. Evans combined total of 961 assists, kills, digs and aces this season, were most by any 3A freshman.

The Golden Hawks ended the season in the Class 3A regional finals with a 27-12 overall record.
