Former Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk golf standout Dominic McCain has wrapped up his sophomore season on the links for the Mount Mercy University Mustangs. McCain, an individual state qualifier during his time at Mid-Prairie, finished the year with an average 18-hole score of 80 through five tournaments. His best tournament of the year was a 15th place finish at the Williams Woods Fall Invitational at the Tanglewood Golf Course in Fulton, Missouri. He fired a day one round of 77 and backed that up with a season best 18 of 71 on day two, posting a 148 total. McCain also went top 20 at the Klocke Family Classic September 10th in Cedar Rapids with his score of 156 for 16th place.

He was part of a Mustang team that finished in third place in the Heart of America Athletic Conference Tournament.
