The United States Postal Service (USPS) has laid out their recommended ship-by dates for packages and letters to arrive to loved ones by Christmas.

For military mail, the deadline for First Class Mail Service and Priority Mail Service is Friday, December 9. Priority Mail Express Military Service must be received by your local post office by Friday, December 16. 

Saturday December 17 will be the deadline for domestic USPS Retail Ground Service and First Class Mail Service. Priority Mail Service packages are due at the post office by Monday, December 19, and last-minute Priority Mail Express Service will be accepted through Friday, December 23. All offices will be closed Christmas Day, as well as Monday, December 26.
