It was a perfect night for WACO Warrior wrestling, taking all three of their duals at Louisa-Muscatine yesterday evening. WACO beat the host L&M 47-36, along with close wins over Mediapolis, 42-40, and Van Buren County, 42-41.

Warriors sophomore Louden Huisenga continued his strong season by picking up a pin at 170 pounds and adding a win via a 19-5 technical knockout. Sophomore Gage Samo picked up a pair of pins at 106 lbs, as did junior John Mclaughlin at 126 and senior Drew Diers at 220. Pins for senior Junior Quiroz at 138 and junior Jonathan Heather at 285 rounded out the scoring for the WACO boys. The Warrior girls split a dual with L&M at 30 apiece. WACO got pins to win from sophomore Rylee Rice at 115 lbs; senior Heaven Steege at 125; freshman Destiny Boone at 170; and senior Bralyyn Wagler at 220. While the WACO girls are in action tonight at Chariton, the boys will participate in the Regina Invitational tomorrow.
