WACO Warrior girls’ wrestling had a dominant Friday, taking third place as a team at the Chariton Invitational over the weekend and having five of their six wrestlers medal in their respective weight classes. Two Warriors won championships. Senior Bralyyn Wagler pinned all five of her opponents and won the title at 235 pounds. Senior Grace Fort took home the crown at 190 lbs after getting a pin in all three bouts she wrestled.

Sophomore Rylee Rice was a runner-up for WACO at 115 after pinning four of her five opponents. Senior Heaven Steege was third at 125, while freshman Destiny Boone pinned her first two opponents and would go on to finish fourth at 170.
