Residents in Sigourney and the surrounding areas are invited to participate in two fundraising opportunities for Andy Harter. Harter, a former teacher at Sigourney, was recently diagnosed with ALS.

Activities kick off on Saturday, January 7 with a White Buffalo Fun Run at the high school. Beginning at 9 a.m. the entry fee is $25 and includes a t-shirt.

Following the run, a soup luncheon and silent auction will be held in conjunction with the high school basketball games. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. guests are invited to enjoy a meal, and participate in the auction. All proceeds will go to the family for future medical and travel expenses.
