If you find any loose change around Tim Grady Gymnasium this winter, it’s likely because Golden Hawk Camron Pickard is dropping dimes. The Mid-Prairie senior standout has dished out 34 assists on the year, eighth most in Class 2A. His season high is seven assists, a number he has hit twice, in games against Northeast Goose Lake and Solon. The Golden Hawks headed into the holidays at 5-3 on the year, 2-2 in the River Valley Conference. They start the second half of the season Monday at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines as part of a special doubleheader against the Denison-Schleswig Monarchs.
