On December 31, at approximately 9:42 p.m., a domestic disturbance was reported to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office on the 100 block of Railroad Street in Lockridge.

The caller reported that her husband, identified as 32-year-old Randon William Lee Robbins, had assaulted two family members, one a juvenile. The caller had locked herself and her child in the car for protection, while Robbins could be heard screaming and hitting the vehicle.

Once deputies arrived on scene, Robbins immediately began to fight with them. He was placed in handcuffs after a brief struggle and arrested. Robbins was charged with domestic abuse/assault, third or subsequent offense, a class D felony, child endangerment, an aggravated misdemeanor, two counts of harassment in the first degree, an aggravated misdemeanor, assault on a peace officer, a serious misdemeanor, and interference with official acts, a simple misdemeanor.

Robbins was transported to the Jefferson County Correctional Facility and is being held on bond.
