It is halfway through the school year, and educators’ supply closets are looking sparse. The Washington Chamber is hosting a new event on the 18th where businesses can help stock up school supplies. The event will be held at the KC Hall in Washington from 4 to 6 PM. Supplies needed are Kleenex, pencils, markers, sticky notes, baggies, snacks, etc. Participants can also be a sponsor in exchange for providing needed supplies. All businesses will be provided a sponsor booth and school supplies. You are also invited to enjoy a networking opportunity with the area educational team as well as light appetizers at the event. This sponsorship opportunity is completely free, other than the cost of supplies you are providing. As a thank, you, sponsoring businesses are invited to judge the ‘Souper’ Awesome Cook-Off that will take place simultaneously at the event. Sample the finest soups that are part of the competition and be part of the judge’s panel to select the grand prize winners.
