The Cambridge Little Achievers Center in Fairfield held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday, following eight months of construction. The 14,000 square foot child care facility is scheduled to open on Monday, January 16. 

Over 90 attendees were on hand to celebrate the completion of the center, which will serve up to 185 children ages six weeks to 12 years old. This included donors, project partners, and Iowa Workforce Development Director, Beth Townsend. 

The mission of the Cambridge Little Achievers Center is to instill, encourage, and further a love for learning, while providing a safe and nurturing environment that promotes social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of the child. Almost 20 staff members have been hired for the initial opening, including Director, Tiffany Finch, who was named in August of 2022.
