Sigourney-Keota continues to look like one of the best wrestling teams in Southeast Iowa after they picked up another two dual wins yesterday evening. SK defeated BGM 57-15 and beat Lynnville-Sully 57-24. While some of their state-ranked wrestlers like Jack Clarahan and Jake Moore had the night off, some other Sigourney-Keota grapplers took advantage of their moment. Senior Austin Gorsh pinned both of his opponents at 120 pounds, while classmate Dan Mclaughlin defeated both his opponents at 132 via a pin and a 7-1 decision. Sophomore Jayden Thompson took a spin at wrestling with the heavyweights and walked away with a pin and a 4-3 decision victory at 285 to round out the night for SK, which heads to the Hudson Invitational this weekend.
