The Washington Demon wrestling team had to settle for a split of duals last night in Oskaloosa. Washington bested the host Oskie 38-35 before falling 58-18 to Williamsburg. Three wrestlers won multiple bouts for the Demons, including sophomore Aaron Boone, who improved to 34-3 at 120 pounds by winning a technical knockout and a 4-3 decision. Junior Chase Greiner pinned a pair of opponents at 160 lbs, while freshman Caden Greiner also won two bouts, both via a decision. Washington also picked up pins from sophomore Nate Edmonds at 106, senior Jack Kleese at 138 and senior Curtis Stender at 195. The Demons will wrestle again tomorrow in Fairfield at the Southern Iowa Classic.
