It’s a River Valley roadtrip tonight for the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys and girls basketball teams when they take on the Wilton Beavers. The Golden Hawk girls are 12-5 on the year, 7-2 in conference, winners of seven straight since Christmas, following a 63-22 Tuesday win over Durant. For the year, Mid-Prairie is scoring 55 per game and giving up 42, shooting 37% from the field, 27% from three and 61% at the line with 37 rebounds, 12 assists, 13 steals and 17 turnovers per game. Individually, Landry Pacha is scoring a team best 11 points to go with eight rebounds and Amara Jones has five assists and four steals per night.

Wilton is 7-9 this year, 4-6 in the RVC after a Tuesday win 53-30 over Prince of Peace. The Beavers average 45 points per game and give up 44, shooting 32% from the field, 25% from three and 57% at the line with 42 rebounds, 11 assists, 11 steals and 17 turnovers per game. Individual leaders include Charlotte Brown with 13 points and 12 rebounds per game. Jozalynn Zaiser has two assists and Catie Hook two steals per night. The Hawks beat the Beavers 48-39 earlier this year with Josie Greiner scoring 12 points for the Hawks and Zaiser 11 for Wilton.

The Mid-Prairie boys are 10-6 this year, 6-3 in league play after a 62-54 win over Durant in Wellman Tuesday. For the season, the Hawks are scoring 61 points per game and giving up 57, shooting 38% from the floor, 29% from three and 71% at the line with 32 rebounds, 12 assists, nine steals and 11 turnovers per game. Individually, Camron Pickard has a team best 15 points, four assists and two steals per night. Alex Bean is averaging six rebounds per game.

Wilton is 12-2 on the year and 8-0 in the River Valley after a 71-43 win over Tipton Tuesday. The Beavers put up 78 points per game and give up 52, shooting 51% from the floor, 32% from deep and 62% at the line with 34 rebounds, 21 assists, 14 steals and nine turnovers per game. Caden Kirkman leads the way with 28 points, 11 rebounds and six assists per game. Wilton won in Wellman earlier this year 67-49 with Kirkman scoring 28 for the Beavers and Dylan Henry 15 for the Hawks. Action starts with the girls game tonight at 6p.m. at Wilton High School.
