The Washington County Board of Supervisors met Tuesday. On the agenda was the disposition of a decommissioned Washington County Ambulance. Interim Ambulance Director Katrina Altenhofen made the request, “In discussion with several of the staff members, the former Adam 58, which is the van type of ambulance. Has not been utilized for the last two years, it sat kind of in storage. We recently moved it out of the base area so that we could get some more room in there when we needed to move other vehicles in during some winter events, and that. And so I would like the approval to be able to go ahead and have it sold.” The Board voted unanimously to allow the sale of the vehicle.
