The Riverside City Council will meet in regular session on Tuesday, February 21 at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers.
A public forum will be held regarding the max levy rate for the 2024 fiscal year. The forum is required by Iowa legislature as communities throughout the state plan their next budget. The council will consider adopting the max levy rate later in the meeting.
A water treatment plant Q & A will be held as part of the City Engineer’s Report. At their last meeting, the council began discussions on a repair and improvement project that could cost nearly $700,000.
Resolutions to be considered include a sewer services contract, well repairs and backflow preventers at the water and waste water treatment plants, as well as library services for the 2024 fiscal year.
The Riverside City Council meeting will be recorded, and can be viewed live by visiting the city website at www.riversideiowa.gov.
