Non-profit organizations seeking grants from the Washington County Riverboat Foundation are invited to attend their business lunch at the Kalona Historical Village. The event will be held on Thursday, February 23 from noon to 1 p.m.
Those who attend the lunch can learn about grant opportunities and receive tips and suggestions for grant writing. The Washington County Riverboat Foundation offers grants to area groups like community clubs, libraries, senior care centers, youth organizations and more. Their spring grant applications are currently open until Sunday, March 12.
