A pair of Sigourney-Keota bowlers competed in the Class 1A individual boys and girls state tournaments at Maple Lanes in Waterloo Tuesday.

In the girls contest, Jayden Montgomery placed 18th of 33 bowlers, rolling a 533 three game series. The sophomore’s top game was her first with a 186. Montgomery is the first girls bowler in program history to qualify for state.

In the boys tournament, Landyn Greiner was 19th of 32 participants with his 590 three set series. The SK soph’s best game was his third with a 206.
