After a successful campaign on the hardwood this winter, the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls basketball team had four members recognized by the River Valley Conference.
Senior Amara Jones was a unanimous first team All-RVC selection. Jones led the Hawks with 101 assists, 10th most in Class 3A and 96 steals, fifth most in the state. Her 240 points were best on the team and ninth in the River Valley. She also added 92 rebounds, shot 37% from the floor, 32% from three and 81% at the line, seventh in 3A.
Mid-Prairie had a pair of second teamers including senior Landry Pacha. She led the Golden Hawks with 167 rebounds, third most in the RVC. Pacha was 10th in the River Valley with 239 points, shooting 48% from the floor, fifth in conference, with 30 assists and 27 steals.
Junior Nora Pennington was also a second team choice. She finished the year with 191 total points on 38% shooting, 50 steals, 48 rebounds and 21 assists.
Senior Kylie Reinier was an honorable mention all-RVC selection. She scored 128 points on 37% shooting with 128 rebounds, 36 steals and 27 assists.
The Golden Hawks ended their season 9-3 in conference, third place in the RVC south, with a 16-7 overall record.
