tri-rivers

The Tri-Rivers Conservation Foundation is currently accepting applications for two $1,000 scholarships for Louisa County students.

The Paris Family Scholarship was established in 2009 to honor lifelong Louisa County resident, farmer, and sportsman, William J. Paris. Applicants must be a graduate from a Louisa County high school, or resident of the county, and attend an Iowa college, university, or technical school.

The Tri-Rivers Director’s Scholarship was first awarded in 2014 to promote conservation and outdoor recreation. Applicants must be a graduate of a Louisa Resource Area school, and can attend any college, university, or technical school.

Both the Paris Family Scholarship and Tri-Rivers Director’s Scholarship are open to any year of study, freshman through post-graduate, and candidates are eligible to apply and receive the scholarships multiple years. Applicants for both scholarships must have a study emphasis that leads to a degree in natural resources or conservation, or another field such as education.

The deadline for both scholarships is Wednesday, March 15. For more information, or for an application, click here.
