At their meeting on February 6, the Riverside City Council received two grants through the “Winning Hands” Employee Volunteer Program at Riverside Casino & Golf Resort.

The city received a check in the amount of $2,515 to be used for Hall Park boat ramp repairs, donated by Kari Ford. An additional donation of $325 was given by Kelli Schneider to be used for the Community Center.

The “Winning Hands” Program, which promotes volunteer work in the community, gives casino employees the opportunity to make charitable contributions based on their hours of service. Elite Casino Resorts, which owns and operates the Riverside Casino, created the program in 2011.
