The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk archery teams finished the regular season at rival Washington Saturday. The high school Hawks were fourth of five teams in the bullseye contest with a 3130 as the Solon Spartans won the title at 3286. Elijah Statler led the boys with a runner-up performance of 287 and 20 tens. Kyla Karnes was fourth for the girls with a 277 and 13 tens. In 3D, Mid-Prairie was third of four with a 1578, behind champion Washington’s 1625. Statler was the best on the boys side again in fourth with a 274 including 16 tens. Karnes also led again for the girls in sixth with a 268 and nine tens. Josee Mueller was seventh.

For the middle schoolers, the Hawks were third of five in bull with a 3100, behind champion Washington’s 3258. Lael Seale was ninth for the girls with a 268 and nine tens. Jack Sorrell was 15th for the boys with a 263 and nine tens. In 3D, Mid-Prairie was third of three teams with a 1543 as Washington won their home tournament with a 1622. Nickolas Kelley paced the boys in third with a 268 and 11 tens. Preston Ford was fifth and Tommy Miller seventh. For the girls, Seale was sixth at 261 and nine tens. Harlee West was ninth.

For the elementary bullseye contest, Nolan Mohling was runner-up with a 263 and 11 tens. Sawyer Brenneman was fifth. For the girls, Lara Brenneman was runner-up with a 261 and 10 tens. Alexa Cady was sixth. In 3D, Lara Brenneman won the girls title with a 263 and 10 tens. Sawyer Brenneman was seventh at 225 and three tens.
