Keota Eagle girls’ basketball leaned on its three seniors and some bright, young faces this past season. Three of those players were rewarded with all-conference selections from the South Iowa Cedar League. The youngster of that trio is sophomore Kimmy Clarahan, who is named to the second team. Clarahan averaged just under nine points, five rebounds, two-and-a-half assists and two-and-a-half steals per game.

Honorable mentions go to two of the three Keota seniors. Macie McDonald led the Eagles in scoring with just under 10 points a game and shot almost 31 percent on three-pointers. Forward Nicole Clarahan is also an honorable mention after putting up better than 5.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per contest.
