With prom season approaching, students are beginning to search for formal wear. While many dresses and tuxedos can run a high cost, All Dolled Up in Wayland is offering them for free.
All Dolled Up is a charitable organization that provides students with formal wear free of charge. With the belief that all students should be able to attend prom and other similar events regardless of personal or financial background, they offer dresses in a variety of styles, colors and sizes. The organization, which is in its 12th year, also has some shoes and jewelry. Last year, All Dolled Up even began providing tuxedos, shirts, vests, and bowties.
All Dolled Up receives their clothing through community donations. Students at WACO High School and the surrounding community are welcome to browse their selection on Saturday, March 25. The event will be held from 9-11 a.m. at the Wayland Mennonite Church.
