The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk and Hillcrest Academy Raven girls track and field teams traveled to Ames Thursday for the Iowa Association of Track Coaches Indoor State Championship meet.

The Golden Hawks had three top ten finishes on the day, led by Danielle Hostetler taking fourth in the 1500m run in 4:58.11. She was also seventh in the 3000 at 10:35.72. Tabitha Evans was seventh in the 400m with her time of 1:00.73. Other performers for Mid-Prairie on the day included Grace Conway 44th in the 800, Greta Sieren was 51st in the same event and Lanee Duwa was 51st in the 400.

Top finish for Hillcrest Academy came in the long jump where Delaney Shaw cleared 14′ 2.5″ to finish 35th. Morgyn Nafziger competed in a pair of events, finishing 55th in the 60m dash with a time of 8.82 seconds and 58th in the shot put with a throw of 23’7″.
