Many area schools in southeast Iowa will begin their respective spring breaks next week. 

A majority of school districts will follow a similar schedule, with spring break beginning on Monday, March 13, and continuing through Friday, March 17. These include WACO, Columbus, Mid-Prairie, and Lone Tree. 

Highland Community School District will have an early dismissal on Wednesday, March 15 and no school on Thursday the 16th or Friday the 17th. 

HIllcrest Academy’s spring break begins Monday as well, coinciding with the junior and senior class trip to Washington DC. 

Classes will resume for area schools on Monday, March 20.
