Highland High School and Hillcrest Academy are each holding a blood drive on Monday, March 20. Participants are encouraged to schedule an appointment to benefit ImpactLife.

Highland’s event runs from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. It will be held in the Donor Bus, located at 1715 Vine Avenue in Riverside. Donors can receive a gift card or a 20-can cooler tote. To sign up, contact Molly Zywiec at 319-657-4101 or email mzywiec@highlandhuskies.org.  

Hillcrest Academy’s Compassion Club is hosting their drive from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. in Celebration Hall. New donors, as well as regular donors, are welcome. To sign up, call the office at 319-656-2073 or email Leanne Bender at lbender@hillcrestravens.org. 

Each blood donation has the potential to save up to four lives. Those planning to give are recommended to hydrate and eat a good meal before the appointment and bring photo identification.
