Sigourney High School students are set to present their spring play, You Can’t Take It With You! Opening night is tonight at 7 p.m. with additional performances on Saturday, March 18 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, March 19 at 2 p.m.

Sophomore cast member, Cera Hahn, explains the comedic production. “You Can’t Take It With You is about an eccentric family whose youngest daughter ends up getting engaged to a man from a more proper family that’s well-off. She invites him over for dinner and chaos ensues with all of the family’s abnormalities”.

Directed by Devin Dailey, the play has been in the works for months, with auditions held back in December. Junior cast member, Amiya Smallwood encourages all to attend. “We’re working really hard to make it good for everyone and it’s really funny, so if you want a good laugh then I’d come see it,” she said.

The play will be held in the Sigourney High School Gym. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students.
