Two of the top basketball players in the area will take part in the annual Pizza Ranch All-Star Games this weekend. Seniors Ethan Patterson of Washington and Ellah Kissell of WACO will represent Southeast Iowa in this annual collection of the best high school hoops seniors from around the state. Kissell will be part of the Southeast girls’ team that will take on Team Southwest in their first game. Lone Tree’s Ryan Shelman will be one of the coaches for the Southeast girls. Patterson’s Southeast boys will meet the Southwest in their first game as well. There will also be 3-point contests and the presentation of Mister and Miss Basketball for the state of Iowa. The Pizza Ranch All-Star Games will take place all day Saturday at Dallas Center-Grimes Community Schools in Grimes.
