The 4-H sheep department will offer educational opportunities to improve and further develop projects for 4-Hers in Washington County.  A variety of producers and sheep showmen will be available for question-and-answer sessions. The workshop will be held on April 4th at 6:30 p.m. Topics to be covered include daily care for sheep, proper nutrition, how to figure rate of gain, routine care for lambs, training lambs for show day, grooming, fair book rules, records, deadlines, and more. The meeting will be held in the upstairs meeting room of Dallmeyer Hall on the fairgrounds. This meeting is open to all 4-Hers and FFA members who plan to exhibit sheep at the Washington County Fair.
