United Way of Johnson & Washington Counties is hosting its 2022 Community Celebration event on Wednesday, April 19, at the Levitt Center for University Advancement, One Park Road, Iowa City. This annual event serves as one of the largest celebrations of community members and volunteers, giving special recognition to corporations, groups, and individuals for their contributions over the past year. The event will kick off with a social time starting at 4:30 pm, followed by a formal program from 5:00 to 6:00 pm. Awards will be presented for Volunteer of the Year, Game Changer in Education, Game Changer in Health, Game Changer in Financial Stability, and United Way Partner Agency Executive of the Year.  Additional awards will be handed out to local companies and organizations, which will include Outstanding Achievement, Spirit of Philanthropy, and Company of the Year.
