Many Washington High School students participated in the Solo and Ensemble Contest held on March 25th. Students who received excellent solo category ratings were Levi Applegate on baritone, Mila Hansen on flute, and Julianna Watson on oboe. Kyann Miller for vocals. Students with an Outstanding rating were Claire Wubbena on trombone, as well as a perfect score. Kevin Flannery and Teague Mayer with a tuba duet, as well as a perfect score. Bailey Rees, with a vocal solo, she was also awarded best in vocal center. Mikaila Matheson on flute, she was also awarded best in upper woodwind center. Bailey Rees and Keven Raymundo with a clarinet duet and Keagan Colby with a vocal solo.
