The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls golf team started the 2023 season with a triangular at Pleasant Valley Golf Course Monday in Iowa City, against private schools Iowa City Regina and Cedar Rapids Xavier. The Hawks finished second in the team standings with a 198, behind the Saint’s 177. The Regals did not post a team score. Xavier’s Meera Julk was meet medalist with a 43.  The round of the day for Mid-Prairie came from Gabi Robertson with a 45. Other scores for the Hawks included Madi Davidson with 49, Elliot Debler, Alexa Huber and Kylie Reinier all shot 52 with Addison English at 55. The Hawks are next in action Monday at West Branch.
