Former Mid-Prairie standout Peyton Miller continues to dazzle at Dordt University. The Defender senior was named runner of the week for March 27th by the Great Plains Athletic Conference. He was dominant in Dordt’s outdoor debut at the Wildcat Classic at Wayne State. Miller won the 400m hurdles and was part of the champion 4×400 relay. His 55.57 second time in the hurdles was the fastest recorded in the conference this season, seventh in Defender history and 13th in all of NAIA. The relay time of 3:27.38 is the fastest in the league in 2023. Miller is a three time NAIA All-American, including earning that status in 2023 with his performances indoors this year in the team’s 4×400 and 4×800 relays. Miller will next be in action when the Defenders travel to the University of South Dakota April 7th and 8th for USD Early Bird.
