The Sigourney Savages and Keota Eagles got back on the track during the Belle Plaine Boys’ Invitational Thursday. Troy Klett was the lone winner for Sigourney, as the freshman claimed the 1,600-meter run in five minutes and 14.9 seconds. The Savages also got a third-place finish from freshman Braydon Wood in the 800 meters.

The best finish for Keota came from senior Dalton Dodd after he was fifth in the 400-meter hurdles. While the Eagles will next head to Pekin Tuesday, Sigourney’s next meet will be Tuesday at Lynnville-Sully.
