The Keota Eagle boys got back on the track Thursday at Pekin, with young athletes leading the way. Freshman Luke Moeller had the best individual finish for Keota by taking second place in the 400-meter dash. Moeller also ran a leg in the Eagles’ four-by-200-meter relay team that finished second. Junior Evan Vittetoe was fourth in the 100, while freshman Jacob Libe and junior Ashton Thomas were fourth in the 110 and 400-meter hurdles, respectively. Keota was third in the 4-by-100 and the shuttle hurdles relay, while the Eagles’ 800 sprint medley team took fourth. Next up for Keota is the Mike Kautz Invitational Monday in Lone Tree.
