The Keota Eagles kept on tearing up the golf course Thursday by defeating Iowa Valley and North Mahaska in a South Iowa Cedar League triangular at Lagos Acres Country Club in Keota. Keota’s team score of 168 strokes was 16 better than North Mahaska, and no Eagle players shot worse than 48. Junior Cole Kindred was the meet medalist, firing the top round with a four-over-par 40. Senior Caden Sprouse and junior Sawyer Stout were hot on his tail, with both only one stroke behind. Sophomore Billie Kindred shot a 46; senior Aidan Anderson fired a 47; and senior Carsin Kindred finished with a 48. Keota has won their first two meets of the season and will look for similar success later today when they travel to Montezuma.
