The Wellman-Scofield Public Library will be undergoing an expansion project beginning later this spring. As staff edge closer to their temporary relocation, a moving sale will be held on Friday, April 14 and Saturday, April 15.

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on either day, the public is welcome to select from items that will not be making the move to the Driscoll Building in downtown Wellman. Books, craft supplies, toys, games, furniture and more will be available for a free-will donation. Proceeds received from the sale will go towards the project.

The sale will be held in the former senior dining center on the east side of the library, which is the area where the expansion will eventually take place. With questions, contact Director Carrie Geno at 319-646-6858.
